Just because baby is too young to understand the rules just yet doesn’t mean they can’t represent their favorite team in an adorable photo shoot! Dress them up in an infant baseball uniform and accessorize them with these ideas:
Bat and Ball: Help baby get an early start on their baseball career while creating precious photo opportunities with a plush or crocheted glove, bat, and ball. After your photo shoot, the plush toys can also serve as a stress reliever that adults can toss around during a game without causing any damage to home furniture or decorations.
Pom Poms: Does your baby prefer to be a spectator on the sidelines rather than an athlete on the field? That’s just as fun! Hang a pop-pom garland in your team’s colors in the background of your photos, or lay cheerleader pom-poms next to baby for a spirited prop.
Pennant Flags: Pennant flags with your favorite team’s logos or colors make a great visual addition to your photos, and afterwards they can be hung in the baby’s nursery to become part of the décor. This is something that they can continue to hang in their room as they grow older, barring the possibility of them becoming a fan of another team. (But if that happens, you can keep the pennant for yourself!)
Bonus Idea: After baby grows out of their infant baseball uniform, mount it inside of a shadow box along with your photo props to create a lifelong keepsake!
There’s lots of ways to create an adorable baseball photo shoot with your baby using apparel and props, just make sure they are always supervised with any décor or accessorizes that you use for your photos.
